Amazing day 1

Early morning walk... do my first day gift?? I packaged up two "moon " cookies, $2 and a bag of peanuts. The seagulls seem to get fed by many. The group of pigeons usually are around the bath house;gave the peanuts to them! Okay , the homeless man isn't sitting on the wall. There's an "older" surfer breathing hard and dripping wet. Maybe he could use the "cookies". Okay, he looked at me as if I were crazy but smiled ear to ear when I handed him the moon cookies ! Oh, great, there's the homeless man. I'll just talk with him! He's going to be a grandfather for the first time! He has so much gold in his eyes, they sparkle! We chatted a while and I congradulated him. As I walked away I had a split second conversation with myself and said, "Self, go back with the $2!" I went back and asked him if it would be okay to give him the $2 for a hot cup of coffee to toast his new grandchild to be. He said he'd be delighted to do that.... and my heart smiled... this was my first gift and it was right!
