Another Santa Barbara Wildfire
My daughter is going to college down in Santa Barbara and for the second time this school year, I left work early to drive down and get her and pull all of her stuff out of her dorm room. I was down there last thursday in 101 degree heat, with large plumes of the fire spreading a couple of miles away and lots of smoke in the air. We managed to get everything out and so far the fire has not spread to her campus yet. The forced all the sudents to evacuate again. She is home with us now for the Summer.
I will be gone all this week in a five day training class. I will catch up with all of you next week. Have a great week.

wildfires are so scary! i know you feel a lot better with her at home with you for the summer. she is lucky to have a dad she can depend on in a crisis. enjoy your summer together, all too soon she will be on her own entirely and you will sorely miss her. but you know that. Hugs, Dawn
