If you're answer is YES! - then you're in the right place, because tomorrow, TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2012 (yes, Valentine's Day), we're kicking off:
MARDI GRAS PRAYER FAIRE at 29 Gifts' The Prayer Cafe!
Everyone who attends the traditional Mardi Gras in New Orleans or Rio or elsewhere looks forward to receiving the traditional gold, green, and purple beads, Doubloons, and other treasures of the event.
At The Prayer Cafe's Prayer Faire, you'll also get beads and doubloons! We'll even throw in a recipe for King's Cake! There will be a special drawing at the end - on Fat Tuesday - and a particularly blessed participant (must be "attending" the Prayer Faire through the Event link) will receive a special Gift to remember their first ever Prayer Faire! (shhh - can't say what it is right now - more on that later).

Ann - answering the other part of your question - watch for a new "Discussion" in The Prayer Cafe on Tuesday, 14 February - that will kick-off the Prayer Faire and give an agenda of sorts for what we'll do.
Everyone - keep in mind - this is an online, cyberspace event - it's not a physical event (unless you're in a place that is having a Mardi Gras activity). But it will be compared spiritually and prayerfully to the physical event with prayers and suggestions each day as we go along. Each person will have his or her own interpretation and is encouraged to use the information that is helpful, keep an open mind, and be willing to look at things in a new light.

Ann - when you're in the "Event" page for the Prayer Faire, there should be a place to RSVP at the top right corner above the pictures of those attending. If you don't see it or still can't get it to take, try refreshing your screen or restarting your computer. If it still doesn't work, contact Elly-Rose, the "technical" guru for 29 Gifts and ask her to look into it; alternatively, and the easiest to do - don't worry about it - just tag alone every day and I'll make sure your name goes into the drawing on Fat Tuesday.
