29-Day Giving Challenge

I'm baking these for my friend's daughter's birthday. Just sugar cookies cut out with a knife and powdered sugar frosting! Aren't they cute? The artist in me is thrilled. (And the 5 year old in me wants to eat them all!)

M - These are absolutely fantastic!  I imagine these being sold in some high-end bakery.  I'm going to share these with my friend who has an artsy daughter.....You have so many brilliant ideas, I wish you could sell some of your products and make some well earned cashola!

OMG!  Those are so adorable!!  Is the paintbrush a pretzel?  That took some time with all the icing colors.  This is your gift M! (like "life gift", talent, vocation)

FYI: To get the paintbrush to stick to the palate, I just stuck it onto the wet white icing. Once it dried it was stuck like glue! For the brown handle on the paintbrush I mixed a little cocoa in with the white icing.

They are adorable!  I saved the picture to show my grandkids -- they will love them and I am sure my little "chefs" will want to make them.  The Birthday Girl will so feel so special.  Thank you for sharing your talents and your giving spirit with us.
