29 Gifts In 29 Days: Days 9 & 10
The days are startin' to blur over here, but I didn't want another one to go by without writing.
Let's see...
The gifts I've given in the past two days combined are:
I ordered groceries online for my mom and brought her some "Via" instant coffee samples from Starbucks because she wanted to try some.
I cleaned off all the data from my two old cell phones in preparation to give to Cell Phones For Soldiers, but they haven't left the house yet.
I cleaned out my closet and have a bag of shirts ready for the Salvation Army or Goodwill.
A free frozen turkey is coming our way from the grocery order I placed and I'm going to donate that to the Salvation Army sober men's living facility.
I went to my Sacred Circle practitioner meeting tonight. I hadn't been in the last two months so it was really good to be there. (Showing up is part of my challenge right now.)
I wrote a long e-mail to a childhood friend of mine who just turned up on Facebook.
Hmmmmm... I'm back to trying to distinguish between giving and receiving. I feel like I've been receiving way more than I've been giving lately. I also feel like I've been really busy the past couple of days, but I couldn't tell ya what I've been doing now that I'm sitting down and thinking about it. I'm doing a lot of prep work for a number of different projects I'm working on and I feel a bit scattered. So nothing profound to say tonight. I just didn't want to miss another day.
On to Day 11!
