catch up blog on giving.

on Friday I did not want to give money or a material gift, instead I wanted to be open to giving during the day. I found myself, like most days, continuously giving my patience and time. I tried very hard to connect positively with the students in my classes that are actually the most high maintenance and require the most out of me. Earlier I was complaining/seeking counsel from a colleague about one student and instead of carrying that into class, i just tried to reach out to him through humor and good attention.

yesterday I added an extra tip to our waitress's bill. I also made two phone calls.

Today, the giving hasn't stopped yet, but I am trying to do more around the house for my husband. Laundry and bedroom clean up already done...gonna make what he requested for dinner...and do some things he would normally do for me so he has more time for himself.
