Day 1
I'm a high school teacher. Yesterday, my first day on the 29-Day Giving Challenge, I had all my students spend the last 10 minutes of class writing a note to an adult in our school that they were thankful for. I didn't let the kids write one about me, because it wasn't an exercise for me to pat myself on the back. Even the nurse, the security guard, and the lunch staff got cards. I felt really good about doing this. I think I'll do it every Wednesday before Thanksgiving going forward.
