Day 1
So for Day one I gave myself a gift that I will receive on Christmas. It is the gift of an e-course ... only $19.95 through the Omega Institute ...http://www.spiritualityandpractice.com/ecourses. To be honest this the first gift I have given myself and I am trying not to feel guilty about the purchase but am instead practicing the 29 Gift philosophy.
Although today is my first day I spent the weekend getting my head in the 29 gift game ... lol! I really do find myself being more present and enjoying myself. I was aware all weekend not only of the kind acts I did for others and acts others did for me but also the love of community and neighbors. During our 18" snowstorm is was so enlightening to see neighbors shoveling the elderly neighbors driveways and cars off and people driving carefully ... yea!
