Day 1

Yesterday was my best friends birthday and it was also when I learned about 29 gifts.
My "Besty" as we call each other is staying in a hotel close to DisneyLand- where her boyfriend promised he'd take her for her birthday. Shes been there waiting to go tomorrow to DL for five days now, you see hes really there for a work meeting. My Besty is turning 24- I got a phone call around 12 last night from her. I answered the phone excited to hear what her birthday was like, I mean after all shes going to the happiest place on earth- how cool!

I pick up the phone " Lizzie! hello how are you birthday girl!"
To hear him yelling at her- we wont say words that were said.

She was left in the hotel and crying in the bathroom and told they weren't going to Disneyland, because she didn't deserve it. It was all because he had lied to her and didn't pay for her birthday dinner and was caught taking time from the birthday dinner to talk to another girl. ( FYI. Guys always pay for a gals birthday dinner its the right thing to do) When she tried to express this (calmly) to him it was bothering her earlier in the evening, he got mad and told her she was ungrateful and a brat. (she's not folks -shes a doll and very loving)
She was hysterical and doesn't want the relationship- its been one long hard road for her and him.
But shes stuck in a hotel with him until Friday night...

*So I went to her house today (it was my only day off) and talked to her mother and left flowers, a card, a box of Milano Mint cookies ( in case they do really split- it'll give her something to indulge on) a pair of opal earrings that match mine but are pink, and stickers of her favorite kittens! * oh ya and all in a Cinderella bag since she doesn't get to go to DisneyLand.
I hope the flowers last until then!

Its my first day. :)
