Day 1 Addendum

I have to share with you one more gift I gave today...I let my kitty sleep in my chair. He loves to sleep on the chair I use at my stamping desk. I had a stamp set I wanted to assemble, and kitty was fast asleep in my chair, so I just picked up my supplies and moved across the room to work at my computer desk.

My cat's name is Sneakers, and he's 11 years old on July 5th. He's the first cat I ever had. I got him from the animal shelter as a kitten. He's a black cat, I think he's what's called a Bombay, and he's just always been a sweetie. He "talks" to me all the time and lets me know what he needs. He loves for me to turn on the water to trickle for him out of the bathroom faucet so he can have a drink. He'll meow to let me know he wants a drink, and then, believe it or not, he'll come back out to me and meow at me when he's done, so I'll know to turn the water off! He lets me think I've trained him, because he will shake hands with me whenever I ask.

He also LOVES to go outside in the backyard, and I think I'll go take him out there right now. I'll have to wake him up, but I know he won't mind that one bit! I'm so grateful to have Sneakers in my life :-)
