29-Day Giving Challenge

I took a week off from blogging and I'm starting another cycle. Actually, I'm taking on a lot, starting today, and I love that it's Monday, February 1st.

I'm taking on 21 new days of clean eating. I'm taking on 21 days of yoga training to strengthen my core. I'm taking on 29 days of gifting. I'm taking on being candidate-able as a leader for Landmark Education by Feb 20th. Plus I'm taking on making three new contacts per day to share and grow my business.

Over the past week, I was a little less intentional about gifting. I gave gifts, and I received many bigger gifts. Today, my gift is patience, and it is another commitment, especially to my daughter. We experienced a lot of frustration around homework lately, and I just reworked how we do homework, and being fully present to her and her needs. She got frustrated today but broke through it pretty quickly. She thanked me for helping her and we both agreed we like the new format. Patience, patience, patience. I'm committing to 21 days of patience with myself and with others.

Lastly, I'm afraid to admit this, but I'm also lighting a candle every night for Hilton for 21 days. I've been doing it for weeks, thinking of him, of us, with love in my heart and the deep belief that light and love always win. I'm intentionally doing that as a gift to him, and however things unfold, they unfold.

I just got back from my fourth and final weekend for my leadership course (it was in Ft. Lauderdale), and the course ends in late March. What a roller-coaster ride this course is. We still have 7 weeks left (out of 29 weeks). I'm sure I'll be sharing more about that in the next 3 weeks.

Good luck with all of this. And good job with your daughter. I know a little patience can make a big difference.
