day 1 round two.

Wow! friday the 13th. What a great day to start round two on. Must be my lucky day. Today I gave encouragement to a difficult co-worker. She has been exercising too hard, too fast while she is on a diet. She has a sore on the side of her foot from walking the treadmill in bad shoes. Turns out she is diabetic. She was afraid to even look at her foot. She is not well liked and no one would offer to look at her foot. I looked at it for her, and it looks like she needs to see a doctor. I encouraged her to call for an appointment and tried to calm her fears as best I could. My sister is diabetic, so I know how important taking care of your feet is. I also told her to call me if she needs anything or just to talk. She has a Monday appointment, but she is pretty scared. She caught it fast and will stay off it this week-end, so I think she'll be o.k. Can't be too careful.
