day 1 - virtual hug

I had sent out a mail on an event in my life to a bunch of friends. Dear close friends. Almost all wrote back to my exceptionally long mail. On an impulse, I had flippantly typed at the end "if you've reached here, you are indeed my chum and here's a hug!". I didn't really expect anyone to hone in on it. None did, except for one.

He replied saying - I read till the end, where's my hug?

It was the sweetest, unexpected first email I read on waking up, and still in bed. I smiled and it brought a cheer in my heart.
For that reason alone, I replied saying *bear hug, and with a peck on your cheek* ..and he was happy.

It felt good giving happiness back. I'd like to give just one more hug today, let's see :-)
