Day 10 - Christmas music and a phone call

I gave away the first of the Christmas compilation CD's that I made yesterday. I hadn't originally thought of this friend as a recipient. My son goes over to her house every Monday because he and her son have been friends since Kindergarten. He's home schooled now so they don't get to see each other at school daily. So every Monday they get together for a few hours after school. Anyway, on the way to pick up my son I remembered how much this friend loves Christmas music. Every time she's in a sad mood she will put on Christmas music even if it's in July. So, on my way out the door today, I grabbed one of the CD's I made yesterday and took it too her. It was so cool to see how her face lit up when I gave it to her. She was so thrilled and that just made my day.

After dinner tonite I called a friend I haven't talked to in months. She was delighted and we chatted for an hour and a half. That was nice. Made my night too. It was so great to catch up with her again. I am truly blessed to have so many great friends in my life.
