Day 14 - Now I have a little calendar pop up around 4pm saying "What is the gift for the day?" I went to Dahn Yoga today and we do a deep dance that generates the healing vibration. It was my first time and a friend had told me about it. In my goal to be more athletic, Dahn Yoga has shown up on my path. Dahn Yoga has a korean background to it and begins with some tai chi stretching moves and then you begin to pat your body to a powerful drummer beat. In a moment of pure joy and freedom--when I could be doing a 1000 other things. I gave the gift of this moment of pure spirit to myself.
Day-15 - Time is so precious. And today there was very little time for me. Yet, I promised to be there for people I coach as they go after what they want in their life. I spent my evening--from 4 to 8 coaching the performance of those who want to be great public speakers and make a difference. And then I went out with some girlfriends and I knew my friend is moving to New Jersey and would not want to spent too much money. I offered to pay for her drink and dessert as my gift. It was the second gift I have given her in the 15 days I realized only after she told me about the itune card I gave her last week. She mentioned it as a gift that keeps on giving as she was able to download gospel music and give to her friends and family cds of this music. I was just in awe that gift giving was like paying it forward as it touched other people's lives in unexpected ways.
Day-16 - I knew my gift of today from the moment I woke up. I am a transformational leader and I am trained in a consciousness conversation that can impact people where they sit andd make a difference. Today I am scheduled to lead such an introduction. Yet, I saw it rather than just a conversation I could lead, I saw it as a "gift" I could give to everyone in the room. I may never know what will come from this gift yet in the moment of sharing the gift I knew I was in the perfect place.
