Day 14
Valentines Day was my day 14. My husband and I headed out on a motorcycle ride. Just as I zipped up my jacket, the zipper broke. Drats! So, I was irritable heading out, thinking of how I was going to have to fix it, etc. We made a quick stop at the ATM for some cash, and as I pulled out of the parking lot, I noticed a homeless man with a large sign saying, "God bless." For a second, I thought, "wish I had some small bills." Then I quickly realized that was dumb. I pulled over, handed him a $20, shook his hand, and wished him well.
And received the grateful thought that my problems are really very small.
