Day 15 - 12/07
Today I sat in a seat to stop a teen sitting down because I could see an older lady getting on the train. When she got closer, I offered her the seat. She was surprise and at the same time thankful.
Offering a seat to an older person is something I do naturally. The un-natural part for me was actually rushing to get a seat.
I seem to notice 'the rushing to get a seat' more so in Asia and I think it's because there are less seats on the trains here, then there are back home in Australia. Unfortunately, people do not wait until everyone gets off the train before pushing to get on and get a seat. It really bugs me that people don't wait.
Today, I didn't push, and due to the time, it wasn't as busy so I could get a seat without being pushy. I normally would have stood but saw an opportunity and took it.
