29-Day Giving Challenge

Today has been a busy day but a quiet one on the giving front. I volunteered at my son's school, as usual, and did the usual things that I always do: smile, let people into traffic, click to give, etc. This afternoon, I emailed a letter to one of my friends who has been having a rough time of it lately (she's the one I sent a care package to last week). I also managed to box up the bears to send to the Ft. Hood survivors. I already had 3 new bears in my possession waiting to be given to whomever, but the box was begging for a fourth one to fill up the space in the box completely (LOL), so I went to Wal-Mart and found some really wonderful, soft, cuddly teddy bears for $10 each. I bought 3, but 2 of them are for when my son's school does their annual toy drive for needy children next month. Anyway, the box is sealed now and ready to be mailed with 4 really nice teddy bears. I hope I'll be able to get to the post office tomorrow to mail it! Oh, I tried to pay for some heat at the ice rink tonight during my son's hockey game, but the staff said they'd "take care of it," and I didn't have to pay. :o)

I wish I had been able to visit more of you today, but it has been busy, and now I'm tired and need to go to bed. *Yawn* Goodnight everyone! :o)
