Day 16: Gave my in-laws help. Father-in-law had knee surgery this week, and they needed a recliner we'd been storing in our house. Helped load it here, and unload it and get it into the house there.
Day 17: Gave my daughter help cleaning her room, after attempting to encourage some independence by having her clean it herself.
Day 18: My son's turn, helped himclean his room this time.
Day 19: - Day 23: This gets a little hard during the work week. Gave my in-laws additional help, this time helping them move a new reliner into the house for them.
My mother-in-law had surgery, and while my wife couldn't take off, we did get out of work early and drove to the hospital, I dropped my wife off so she could drive her parent's home (as I mentioned before her dad had knee surgery the previous week.
I'm sure there is more, but I've been so busy....this is why I prefer doing daily posts. If I let it go I forget some little things.
Day 24: Gave help to the Scouts by helping decorate the float and marching in a parade with them. Gave myself a break by not doing other parades later in the day (my knee/leg was really hurting. Gave the kids a treat as 'comensation' for not going to at least 1 of the other parades, made some funnel cakes (these were frozen ones that just need to be baked) and had 'movie night' watched 'Polar Express' with them and the three of us fell asleep in the activity room.
Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.
Paul
