Day 16 Round 1 (02/16/10)

The walk I took with mom yesterday totally changed her mood and she had an extremely positive day today so that is such a gift to me, to hear she is doing so much better and is so much more motivated today. Today I bought a little ceramic bird to give to a friend of my sisters who recently told me he was mourning the loss of one of his birds a year ago and who was also sad because his current birds almost died a few days ago and because he also lost his uncle. In the midst of his pain, he still manages to care for other and the other day gave me copies of some music CDs he had made for me. I also took some chocolate to work and offered it to my co-workers and also treated my mom to dinner at my house (room actually) since she was nice enough to come with me to a Dr.'s appointment. Oh, and I also bought some Gatorade for my roommate who told me he was dehydrated because he was sick all night from something he ate. He's always helping out with my dog and I wanted to do something for him. He was very thankful indeed.
