Day 16th: gave the day to mother-in-law, visited her in the rehab and spent several hours with her. Day 17th with my girls as I am planning to give day 18th through 20th to us (me and my husband) we haven't spent time away from family for several years now. We took a little trip to Chicago and Saturday through Monday there, it was awesome. Got back Monday night and paid a visit to my mother-in-law in the rehab. Tuesday, day 21st was for the girls.....went and watched New Moon with them and had a fun family time. While doing all this, my mind always keep drifting away as if I am not doing enough. I also know it is just me thinking that way, so to feel better I helped out a few homeless people in Chicago and donated some money to Salvation Army people. It breaks my heart everytime I go to Chicago to see so many homeless people. Today my day 22nd, we had a meeting with the social worker, nurse and therapist at mom's hospital to go over her case details. It took several hours but she felt much better with us being there. My husband/her son is off this week too, she was so happy to have him there. Later part of the day went preparing for Thanksgiving tomorrow, we will get to bring mom home too. We all are so excited.........this year I am thankful for the wonderful family I have, also for my mother-in-law's progress at the rehab and for 29 gifts. This has been a great experience and I am so glad to be a part of it.
I just want to wish the entire family of 29gits a very happy Thanksgiving :) Be safe in your travels and count your blessings.
Love and peace everyone, Good night!!
