Today I saw the psychiatrist for the first time. It was an interesting experience.. but I can't say that I enjoyed it. It was actually a bit depressing to relive everything I've gone through in the past months.. most of which have been negative..but I am extremely grateful for her seeing me and offering her expertise on my treatment, particularly my medications. It looks like we're adjusting some things so that I can sleep better and not have so many side effects. I want to thank all of you for thinking of me and supporting me through this. It means so much.
After the appointment I was feeling kind of down and a little bit shakey, so my boyfriend suggested we go out for lunch. We don't usually go out much, at least not recently, so this was a treat. It was a nice day today and we explored downtown, which turned out to be a very lovely time. Exploring new places is usually an uplifting experience. Even more so when you're doing it with someone you love. (:
There were some bins outside a vintage closet shop on the street and I bought a couple pins for my sister. (Sh, sh, it's a surprise! ^_~) Her birthday is coming up next week!
The lady at the store said they're from the 50's. I think they're quite wonderful. I hope my sister likes them.
It's good to be back. (:
