29-Day Giving Challenge

I gave encouragement, support and practical help to a wonderful, giving, learning community. I've taken a stretch with them recently, and it feels good.

I gave a small donation to an AIDS charity in honour of World Aids Day, and tried to do a little bit of raising awareness too.

I'm talking to the charity I'm hoping to volunteer with on Wednesday, and I'm feeling really good about the chance to give my skills and experience to them.

I gave my time and attention to a friend, who needed to offload about her weekend.

I received a lovely e-mail from a friend. I'd sent her a charity e-card to congratulate her on a big achievement.

She said

"Thank you so much for the wonderful card AND introducing me to a new way to give. :-)"

That really made me think about the way in which we give encourages and motivates others to give too.

I received the gift of another stunningly lovely winters day here.

Bright Winter Morning

And at the end of it, found out I'd won a vision board in the 29 days challenge raffle.

I'm full of gratitude.

Effie, small world indeed! My parents both went to university in St Andrews - it's where they met. I went there for about half of my holidays as a girl - beautiful sands. Your cousin will love it.

Beautiful photo...thank you for sharing that with us. Wanted to mention that I have a cousin visiting St. Andrews while going to college there for a semister. She will be visiting the highlands also. What a small world that I am writing to you while having a relative there in your country. Blessings! Effie
