day 18 :: today i took another step to help my homeless lady friend who sells the street roots. i called a women's shelter and requested an intake application for their residential recovery program. she loses her current shelter within a week... i can't believe how lucky i am. my basic needs are always met, in fact, what i need is always, already, met, really...
i finally bought a bike helmet today, and got me and my partner fun bike bells. it was a fun treat to give him. blrirring blrring!!
since i stopped looking for work, and accepted a temp position at a local wellness clinic, i have been presented with several job openings, as well as new clients. i applied for the 'dean of students' at a great local massage school, where a good friend works. this would change my life... i have not head a steady job or steady income in three years. at the same time, my business is picking up! who knows where the road will lead...
later that evening, i was surprised at work by a visit from a friend. she joined us at an art event jonny was reading at, and she treated me to sushi!!! fun!
day 19 :: tonight i am babysitting for a friend so she and her husband can go out. they will probably be out super late, so i offered to have her girl spend the night.
i spent the day as a vendor at a local 'earth day' street fair. it was pretty slow, but i think i made some good connections :)
take care, ya'll!
