Day 2

Yesterday was my first day of the giving challenge and it was easy to give. Another member listed an email address that she had set up for a friend going through a tough time and simply asked that people send an ecard to this address. How easy is that? And to think how much fun it will be for that person to get all of those well-wishing cards....

Today is day 2 and I don't feel like I made a conscious effort to give today. But then I realized, I stopped at a store and picked up something for a friend to give as a christmas present to her son. I gave her the gift of not having to make a last minute run to the store. And I also went to my sons' elementary school to help break down the book fair stuff. Who would be the recipient of that gift? The school, for the effort I made as a volunteer so the book fair could take place? The older woman who volunteered this afternoon also, so she didn't have to do all the work herself? Not sure.
