Day 2 - A Big Tip (and she wasn't even my waitress)
Today I went to have dinner with my son at our favorite sushi spot. We were excited to see our favorite waitress, Natalie, only to find out that we wouldn't be seated in her area. Ugh! I had anticipated giving her a "holiday tip" today. We had our dinner, served by the other waitress who wasn't particularly friendly, nor nearly 1/2 as good as Natalie. I paid the check and then slipped a $20 bill into Natalie's hand on our way out and told her to "Have a Happy Holiday!".
The fun part is that moments before we went to dinner we stopped by Midas to get an oil change. And because I am such a good customer there the owner comped my oil change and said that it was his holiday gift to me. Sweet!
All in all it was a great day!
