day 20 / 21

day 20- this morning i treated jonny and tildy [our friend's daughter who we sat for] to a breakfast outing. super fun :) while i waited for her mom to pick her up, i ran over to the coffee shop to give kim, my street roots friend, an application to a residential recovery program. i don't know if its the right thing for her, but i had to try. i also gave her a list of other shelters and programs she can try...

day 21 - today my gift was kindness. i was kind even when i felt misunderstood, rather than getting frustrated or angry. i listened and gave empathy, even when i wasn't getting any. it made me feel better!
