Day 20

Today I brought over the vanilla extract and some cookies to the friend who lent me some of her artificial vanilla yesterday. She thanked me for both.

And this friend is celebrating a milestone birthday next week. We have plans to go out on her day. YES! Celebrating with her will be another one of my gifts.

Somebody who lives in Arizona posted a blog yesterday or the day before, but I can't recall her name. If you are reading this, please request me as a friend. I would like to chat with you about Sedona. Have you (or anybody else) ever been to the Festival of Lights at the Tlaque Paque?

I started a letter today, that I intend to give to an elementary school teacher that I know. It is about the California missions, that played a big role in the state's history. I have tried to gear the letter toward 4th graders, which is the grade that the kids are taught about the missions. I tend to use big words when I type letters, and at one point, the word "indigenous" popped into the letter. I rephrased. This letter will probably be tomorrow's gift.
