Day 20 Puppy Love

After I posted yesterday, I discovered a puppy about 5 weeks old that had be abandond by it's mother. There was no way I could leave it, so after pleading with my husband, he came home with us. I have three dogs already so keeping him was not an option. An old friend was scheduled to drop by later that night. It just so happens that this friend is a great dog lover. He has no children or family except for his two much loved mutts. It couldn't have been more perfect. After a little manipulation, sure enough my friend Charlie loaded up the little guy and off they went. He called me this morning to tell me he was doing well.

Today, I spoke to a woman whose daughter is suffering from thyroid cancer. Her heart was breaking as she told me of the countless doctors and diagnosis. My gift today was being a listener. I read her face and saw the concern. I focused all my energy and meditated on a healing energy for her daughter Natalie. I also plan on sharing the 29 gifts book with her.
