Day 21
It was quite an interesting day today. I received a call from a childhood friend who moved to Atlanta. I haven't seen her in more than 5 years. We stayed on the phone for an hour and a half and started recollecting all those Christmases and "wild" things we did when we were kids. It was an amazing experience.
I ran a marathon this year for the LLS and learned a lot about running --- nothing I ever thought I would ever do. My friend wants to start running and asked me for tips from nutrition to gear. I took all the time she needed and told her everything she wanted to know. That was my give - I would have done it anyway even if it wasn't for this challenge.
Then I went to get some groceries and I ran into a former neighbor - awesome guy! It was a good evening :)
