This past Friday was the last day of school for my 5 year old twin grandsons.Spencer and Logan were blessed to have 2 wonderful teachers for their first year in school.School can be such a scary venture-as you navigate your way through a classroom setting. You have been learning and absorbing information from the day you were born, but in the school setting, there are rules that have to be followed and there is an added competition between the classmates, that wasn't there when you were at home under the tutelage of your parents.
Teachers are truly special people. We entrust our children to their care and their handiwork forever becomes a piece of our children's lives. My gift for today-I wrote a poem for Spencer and Logan's teacher's and we brought it up to the school as they were doing last minute packing and clearing out-saying good-bye to another year of school.
To all you teacher's out there-Thank You!
