I was physically exhausted when I got home on Day 21. It was one of those long days when you wish there were more than 24 hours to get everything done. After work, I had a dinner date and the whole time I was thinking of how I couldn't wait to get home and sleeeeeep! As soon as I got home, I changed and went straight to bed. As I was laying there with my eyes shut, I thought of what I could do that didn't require much effort or time because my head was already on the pillow, and I was about to call it a day! I decided to say a prayer for each one of my relatives back home in the Philippines. It was the beginning of Holy Week, which I know is a huge time of celebration in the Philippines. I asked God to keep them happy and safe, and to let that week before Easter be a fulfilling time for them. I prayed for all my immediate family members here in Chicago too.
Here is a pic of me saying a prayer in Manila Cathedral when I visited the Philippines in Jan 2009
