Day 22 was Palm Sunday....
OMG, I'm realizing how behind I am with posting!! My life has been a little up in the air after the move out of my condo. I've been in limbo and "homeless" this past month. I'm fortunate to be staying with friends and family before I move into my new place May 1. Although, that might be changing now too!! I'm up for a promotion and could possibly be moving out of state. I'm praying for God's wisdom and strength to help me make the right decision for myself.
Back to Day 22. When the collection basket came around at church, I literally dug out every penny, nickel, and dime I had in my purse and dropped it in. I may have had some dollar bills in there too. I rarely carry cash nowadays, but I wanted to give everything I had on that day. I adore the church I go to in the city. It is just a block away from my condo, and was the first church that I went to when I moved into the area. Its small and modern; diverse and always welcoming. I know that they are raising money to build a new school, so one day... when its up and thriving, I can think back to how I helped contribute...even if it was just with my pennies ;)
