Day 2-3
Day 2. I had a busy day and forgot about the challenge until ~8 pm. My boyfriend came home from work and said "so what gift did you give today?" I said, "nothing yet". He said "My back is sore. You could give me a back massage!"
I told him that I didn't think that would count since he had requested it, but I said that I would give him one anyway. I decided that my gift would be to make the massage really special. I got out our foldup massage table, got some candles, put on some relaxing music, and gave him a massage for almost an hour. He was happy and told me that it was WAY more than he was expecting. :)
Day 3. I got home from another busy day and felt tired, but the kitchen was a mess. My gift was the time and energy to clean the kitchen before my boyfriend got home. It didn't take long and was worth the effort.

In my opinion a gift is something we give - freely - and it is perfectly okay if someone asks for it!! Then we have the added benefit of knowing it is something they would like to receive!! I often adopt a family for Christmas and they ask for some specifics ... and surely Foundations ask for money ... and I think your gift to your boyfriend is a WONDERFUL give!!
