Day 25 - 27: Giving as you go
E-mail messages of support, a surprise present, home-made mince pies, a telephone call, virtual hugs, remembering to log on and give a small amount to the radio 4 Christmas appeal, paying attention to people who are low, providing space and encouragement for people to express themselves, smiles and laughter, saying 'thank you' when people wouldn't expect it, smiling when you walk past someone, being there, making practical suggestions, being open and friendly, sending a friend a note to say 'I hope you're okay', giving feedback to people who write and make a stretch, telling someone their words moved me to tears.
