Day 25- Giving Thanks and Giving Books

Today was not one of the most joyful Thanksgiving celebrations for our family. My husband's father, whom I have mentioned before, has late stage dementia and is living in a skilled nursing facility. He has been declining over the past month, and today after eating the nursing home meal with him we had a family meeting about hospice and final arrangements.

When we got home I took some children's books in both English and Spanish over to my neighbor boys as today's gift.
