day 25--supporting reconciliation

i do very very little giving money to charities, or any organizations at all except for exchange (like buying something) or sometimes my church. i feel like i give so much time to so many different organizations, and money is not something i usually have much to spare. but today i got home exhausted, we worked til almost 9pm, and i despaired again of being able to give today (it was like back on day 5 or something..."no, i just can't do it! i'll have to start all over...i'm a failure..."etc). then i thought i could give a gift online somehow, and immediately my friend ethan came to mind. he works for an organization i really admire, the fellowship of reconciliation, and a few weeks ago i got an email from a colleague of his inviting me to a benefit dinner they were having. i would have loved to go, but i'm not in california, so i thought of just donating online to FOR, and still support the amazing program the benefit was about. better yet, i donated enough that i'm now subscribed to the really great newsletter ethan edits!
