Day 26 - Mardi Gras beads

This evening we went to see a Louisiana band here in Taos, NM. You'd probably be surprised at all the Louisiana bands that come here, but Taos is a major ski area, so it's also a tourist town.....and we have a LOT more live band entertainment than most li'l old towns would. It was so much fun, and we had just watched the Saints' victory parade on CNN, so we were all fired up over that again too.

I purposely took along a big bunch of Mardi Gras beads to give away to people at the concert. It was a lot of fun and we met some very nice people there....some of them also from Louisiana! It's amazing the smiles you get in return for a handful of plastic beads! :-)
