Day 26 - Neighborhood Clean-Up

Yesterday, while walking my dog, I picked up trash all along my street. I feel like this was a gift to my neighbors and neighborhood in general, and also a gift to me. Last evening, a group I attend had our annual gratitude dinner, and I made a homemade chocolate pecan pie which was a big hit. I had thought earlier about just picking something up from the grocery store which would certainly have been okay, but it felt good to take the time and put forth the effort to make something special for everyone to enjoy.
