Day 27 and 28

I am stunned that tomorrow is my 29th day--this has gone incredibly fast. I've really learned so much--especially when scarcity looms and I put myself in the path of reaching for abundance---ooo sometimes it is so difficult. Didn't realize the strength of my inner tightwad. Yesterday I was feeling the scarcity as I drove my sons and a friend for a day of skiing. We got up to the pay booth and I took a breath, smiled and asked to pay for 4 adult tickets. The day went on and we had a memorable day--a 15 year old and 17 year old who were excited to celebrate our decade's old tradition of skiing on President's Day. I truly couldn't be more blessed. Today I am making a big batch of soup to take to our church soup supper tomorrow evening for Ash Wednesday. And in celebration of Fat Tuesday and knowing I am giving up all sweets for six weeks, I bought myself a Salted Nut roll. Life really is good.
