Day 27 - Giving to Myself

I have read other blogs like this, so I don't feel too guilty. I was the recipient of my gift today. A good cry! Another test negative and now I truly am starting to think I am imaging things. So a good cry was my gift to self. I find being able to focus on giving to others in big or small ways always one to refocus on what's important. However, I find that I, too, am important. Today was a day I couldn't hold it in anymore -- my frustration, fear and uncertainness. But suprisingly after that cry and a walk, I felt more able to give. To vacuum out my boyfriend's car - just because it needed it. Allowing him that uninterrupted time for himself - so even though the cry and the walk seemed for me, it was also for him --- he didn't need to be subjected to it again. (even though he says he doesn't mind). A minute for my neighbor. It appears the release of negative energy makes for positive giving.
