29-Day Giving Challenge

Day 27--- Woman found anonymous gift delights crowd!

I was driving in o town thinking about the little bit of consciousness that it takes to commit to giving some thing every day---how that moment of being present affects you! Then I realised I hadn't thought about my give today at all!! But I found a little parcel I had made upa few days ago sitting in the car laughing at me, so in great good humour I took it and deposited in yet another ladies loo. To cut a long story short, an elderly lady with a stick stopped to tell her friends at a neighbouring table that she had found it and re-gifted it to the waitress. "Isn't that lovely?" she said. Meanwhile the whole cafe got talking about what a lovely thing it was , how it made their day, how they were going to visit the website and so on. Well, my day too was made. Does that mean it doesn't count?
Been thinking about the last day of this round -- I think I'll give away 29 things just to round it off! Card writing, smiles,
(especially to grumpy people) maybe individual flowers, hugs --- just 29 conscious things!

What a wonderful feeling you must have gotten from your gift! I love that it was a surprise gift and you didn't let on that you knew about it! I too like to give "surprise" gifts, they are the most fun, even when you don't know the outcome, you can make it anything you want in your own mind! I don't give them as often as I should, I guess I need to work on that! Thanks for the reminder.
