day 28- a phone call

My gift for today was to call a friend from baltimore who i haven't talked to in a while. i was just going to call to say hi, but when we talked, i got to talking about new things going on in my life, and she got to talking about all kinds of things in her life. it was a really great conversation- but also i think it was at the right time for her- i think she's in a huge transition phase of her life- and i think she's realizing new things about her feelings of self-worth, and also what kinds of people she wants to surround herself with. in short, i think she's really growing right now. and part of that growth for her is being very lonely- so i think having that conversation was really nice for her too.
