29-Day Giving Challenge

Today the gifts I gave were to my self and my dog :-). Today was a beautiful day. I was so fortunate. I went to a workshop led on the Chakras led by a wonderful person who had so much to share. He's a trained yogi, buddhist, as well as someone who believes in intergrating psychological principles into his teaching to link it all together. He was so witty, charming, kind, and intelligent. I learned so much. It is such a gift to sit in a group with like-minded kind-hearted people and learn about how to help people become more centered and balanced and happy. I had lunch with four women from the group and it was amazing. The food was fantastic, the weather was gorgeous, there was a table of three little girls sitting by us who couldn't stop admiring each others accessories....a day filled with so much beauty, I'm mesmorized. One of the women at the lunch works at an organization I would love to work for (we'll see...). Its a health center that helps people with disease treatment through alternative therapies.

The gift to my dog, who has been a little neglected with all of my outings, needed love. I came home tonight to give him extra everything....kisses, treats, bones, food, hugs and appreciation. I also brought him for an extra long walk. He's a darling little boy. I don't know my constellations, but there is one that looks like him. Basil, my dog is a Basenji-greyhound mix, looks just like this constellation. Sounds corny, but I showed it to him and told him what an angel he is....it's love.

I am going to keep giving everyday. I don't know that I will keep blogging on it. I am more conscious of what I give everyday. If I feel myself going a different direction I hope that the universe taps me on the shoulder and gets me back in line. Enjoy your journey!
