Today is my 29th day of giving. I have met the challenge and learned so much along the way.
Today I gave my discounted tickets to the Ren. Faire to friends who where going. We did not go this year.
I then made a fine breakfast for my guys and washed, dried and folded my husbands gym clothes. My husband then gave me the gift of walking with me.
What I have learned is that everything is a gift and that life is a constant exchange of gifts. We are constantly giving and receiving.
The baby bird I took to the wildlife rescue died the next day. I know his brief life was a gift. I think animals are true, pure expressions of spirit.
I do not feel called to do another 29 days, but rather to incorporate giving into my every day as I do prayer and gratitude. This challenge has brought journalling back into my life which I also intend to keep as long as it serves me.
I thank you Cami and Mbali for sharing of yourselves and challenging everyone to incorporate giving into our lives. I am so glad to have met the friends I have made on this site. I hope to keep in touch. I will sign on every so often.
I wish for you all Love, laughter, joy and Serenity every day of your lives.
