Day 3

Today was similar to yesterday. My gift today was working with my Dad to get more projects done. We tooked down a few trees and completed the retaining wall with the stones we bought yesterday. Of course Mom was there to supervive. Had a great lunch with my folks sitting on the deck watching the lake. Had an eagle come by a few times. It sat on the end of the peir for a few minutes. That was cool.

As I was packing up to head home Mom mentioned that she sent an e-mail to my older brother about me doing this work. I felt like it was being used as leverage to get him to do the same. I felt like I was being used. But like any gift people can do with it what they please. Beside I didn't not do this work to make me feel better(although it did) , it was to help my parents out.

Wonder if I should let Mom know how I felt about it? Probably not. Maybe I should talk to my brother about. Heck I don't know.

Either way it was a great weekend. Time for bed.
