29-Day Giving Challenge

I went on an audition for a game show and gave smiles and let people borrow my pen and hard surface for them to help fill their application. I treated someone to a pretzel and drink. It was a fun experience. Someone came up to me and said that they hope I get on because they thought I was so nice and energetic. Good feeling. Another person came up to me and noticed my picture of my dog on my bag. She shared about her dog that she lost and shared a lot more pics from her phone. I wished her well. The person behind me thought I was so nice to show and interest to her. I think people want to connect and feel they matter. I do. So, if I want it, I got to give it, right? Like I mentioned, a fund day.

I sent out boxes at the post office. What a blessing to not have a huge line. I conversed with those around me and thanked people who opened up the door for me when my hands were full.

I engaged in a conversation with the lady who checked me out at a store. She shared that her mother died and I thought it was nice that she felt able to do so. I wished her a peaceful Christmas.

I got my husband some casual lounging warm pants so that he can be comfortable when he gets home.

I got to connect with a friend on the phone that I haven't been able to see lately. Our schedule just hasn't connected.

I gave out more coupons in a line at a store that I noticed who did not have any.

Kimberly,
Good luck on being picked for the game show. You had such a good experience in line, So many good connections and gives.
Post Office can give you nightmares, You again connected and made the wait a little easier. You treated your husband and continued to connect with everyone. Your sunny disposition is a gift to the world.
