Day 4

The universe gave back! I'm in charge of the Book fair at work. For three weeks now I've had this note on my Outlook reminders: "Book Fair Arrives. Get help!" But, of course I didn't get around to recruiting help to set it up. It was really bothering me trying to figure out a time to get it set up--no way to do it over the weekend. So this afternoon I got a phone call from a woman who heard we were having a book fair and wanted to volunteer to help set it up for us! "Our church cancelled services next week and asked us to go out and volunteer. I'm a librarian so I know a little about setting up book fairs. Oh, by the way, can I bring my daughter to help too?"

Isn't that awesome???

Today I paid for the lady behind me in the McDonalds drive-through. Sadly, this turned out to be kind of a process--the manager had to get involved and everything. Oh well.
