Day 4 & 5

I suppose money is becoming one of the harder things for me to give right now because I am unemployed, but also more emotionally intimate things and things given in a social way are hard for me because of social anxiety. I'd love to volunteer for example but I'm still too anxious to do so. I suppose I could work exposure therapy into my gift giving and work up to giving the most uncomfortable thing for me to give (volunteer hours, socializing) on the last day, but I don't know if that would fit into the ritual. What do you think?

Yesterday, Day 4

- Space to my mother and grandmother in their conversation, instead of taking over and "setting things straight" as I usually do

Today, Day 5

Gave:
- More virtual gifts
- My grandmother a ride to the bank and grocery store
- Spare change to the Salvation Army
- Lotions, body wash, and a candle to myself from Bath & Body Works
- The $20 I received to my parents to pay half on the pizza we had tonight

- $20 for helping my grandmother
