Day 5 ~ 09/0209

Okay. Today was a good day o' giving! I decided to do a "donate and run" or more like "drive thru donation" for my 29Gifts mission. I had a DVD ("Woman, Art Thou Loosed") that I felt needed to be released for others to benefit. Even though I do not consider myself to be a religious person per se (more spiritual), there were some important messages in the movie. So, I drove up to my library book return bin and donated it! Just like that! I am also considering different venues such as the coffee shop or doctor's office for future donations. You never know who may be interested or may need a book!

2). I sent a note to an organizer of one of my Meetups thanking her for the great events that she had lined up for us.

I also received two wonderful VMs today. On another blog post, I mentioned that I felt the need to call a person who has been unemployed for the longest time. In the first message, he thanked me profusely for checking in on him as it meant a lot. In the second message, he called to say that he is scheduled for an interview. Yes! Please hire the man already!
